Content means everything, and practically is everything. I’ve been content writing since 2006, when I found my ‘online voice’, and working as a freelance content writer since 2009. Before that I was writing on paper – you know, that flat stuff with the lines on it.
Are you looking for someone to write content for your site? Perhaps you don’t have time, so need a ghost writer to keep the content rolling? Or you’d like me to write a guest blog post for you? I’ve written website content on topics ranging from health, beauty and travel to fashion, opinion and food.
While working at spa and beauty website Treatwell, I racked up a healthy (see what I did there?) collection of reviews and articles, all about wellness. I’ve also written about my favourite places in London for lastminute.com’s Topsee iPhone app, and gap year tips for travel community GapDaemon.
When it comes to content curation, I’ve plucked the most important information and crafted messages into employee handbooks, websites, intranets, and event/conference presentations and keynotes.
Scroll through some of my content writing experience:
Project: Feature post for Live4.com.au
Info: I wrote an article about why I won’t regret my body art when I’ve grown old disgracefully.
Project: Column for an online mag
Info: I wrote some advice on coping with a noisy office. Something to casually wave under the nose of Janice in Accounts?
Project: Blog for the Topsee app
Info: I got to boast a fair bit about my favourite places in London for lastminute.com’s iPhone app.
Project: Feature post for a pretty kick-ass site
Info: I wrote an article about my BFF woes through the years. It looked like I wasn’t the only loner out there.
